President Julius Maada Bio will leave Freetown this week to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During the High-Level Week at the UN, President Bio is set to participate in key summits and engage with bilateral partners. As the Coordinator of the African Union Committee of Ten, he will address the assembly and lead discussions on reforming the UN Security Council.
Joining him on the presidential delegation is the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Rahman Swaray, who has already arrived in New York.
