At the official launch on 5 October, David S. Mansaray, Customer Experience Director, highlighted that exceptional service involves building lasting relationships grounded in trust and understanding customer needs. He encouraged employees to foster a culture of going the extra mile and thanked customers for their loyalty, stressing that satisfaction should be a daily priority, not just a focus during Customer Service Week. A video message from CEO Aïcha Touré reinforced this commitment, stating, “Our customers are the very reason we exist,” and emphasising the importance of listening to their feedback.

Beyond the launch, Orange Sierra Leone engaged customers nationwide, recognising long-standing patrons with gifts and encouraging face-to-face interactions. This initiative allowed employees to gather valuable insights on network quality and service reliability directly from customers.

The company underscored its values of Care, Boldness, and Responsibility throughout the week. It demonstrated its commitment to active listening, innovation, and responsible service improvement, reinforcing that customer service is a shared responsibility among all employees.

As the week concluded, Orange Sierra Leone pledged to maintain its focus on customer satisfaction, continuously improve service quality, and enhance digital access. “Going the Extra Mile” encapsulates the company’s dedication to exceeding customer expectations by putting them at the heart of its operations.
