A 28-year-old man, Adebayo Maoli, has been arrested in Toronto and charged with sexual assault and two counts of indecent behaviour after allegedly exposing himself to passengers on the subway.
Toronto Police made the announcement on Sunday, noting that the incidents occurred on September 1 and October 3, 2026, at King and College subway stations, respectively.
Police reported that the first incident took place around 3pm on September 1, when Maoli is said to have exposed himself to two victims on a southbound Toronto Transit Commission train at King Station. The victims activated the security alarm, prompting him to leave the train.
The second incident occurred at about 12:10am on October 3, when Maoli allegedly followed a victim disembarking from a train at College Station. He reportedly exposed himself on an escalator after the victim confronted him verbally, causing him to flee the area.
Maoli, who lives in Toronto, faces two counts of indecent act and one count of sexual assault. He is set to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 9:30am.
Authorities believe there may be additional victims and have released a photo of the suspect while seeking more information from the public.
